    mod_gzip, mod_expires, mod_headers...

Is these modules any good ?
Does it works with any browser or maybe it doesn't matter what the client side use ?
    Any known issues ?
Can I use them all together ?

I read on the dev sites for these modules but I'd like some info from actually users.

So if anyone feel like sharing experience here it's much appreciated.

mod_gzip is a big improvement to apache. it decreases the amount of bandwidth used, by compressing every page. therefore page loading times are smaller.

also, you can use eaccellerator for php, it really helps to decrease compile time of php scripts, and also caches them, so it serves a cached copy on next access.

    BUT

mod_gzip uses alot of cpu power. if ypu have load problems on a server, mod_gzip will make the server unusable.
eaccelerator actually decreses the load (from my tests).

don't know about expires and headers.
