    It only took a few weeks of DDoS attacks to have that group finally fold...and for the good. SPEWS had too much ego IMO and I'm glad to see them go.

    As long as they don't get the idea to block entire IP ranges... I don't care..

    Won't use any of them any ways... They all cause more problems than they solve. None of those lists work quickly to get legit people off of them... shrugs maybe some day..

    Yep, anyone that blocks entire ip ranges is worse than the spam. I don't use any rbl's for that reason, they block more good email than bad.

    Glad to see them go!

    Actually, SPEWS has only been officially dead since 1 February 2007. Its databases are no longer live. Any admins using SPEWS to block emails are really wasting their bandwidth.

    RIP Spews. You caused many of us many a headache. Here's hoping those involved now go into auto repair, for they were horrible at spam blocking...
