    Hi,

    I have a little crazy trouble with SPF.. I know this is stupid to forward mails like this but customer set it like this and looking for any work around

    So here is the problem:

    The domain example.com have spf record set to
    [root@~]# dig TXT <example.com> +short
    "v=spf1 include:spf.messagelabs.com -all"

    Messagelabs (3rd party email filtering) directs the mail to our mail server <bla.mailserver.com > which does the SPF check and works fine. Our mail server is again routing that received mail to customer internal mail server at their office. Their internal mail server have SPF checking enabled and it is rejecting all the mails for example.com since the spf record is set to accept mails from messagelabs.com only. The internal mail server sees the mail coming from our mail server (bla.mailserver.com) and these mails are getting rejected.

    Is there any work around other than disabling SPF check on their internal mail server.

    In the internal mail server security log it's getting rejected with the message
    ====
    " SPF Check failed: The IP address < bla.mailserver.com> is not in permitted set for sender 'user@example.com' (FAIL)
    ====
