    hi all,

i recognized that when in cpanel you create a sql db or sql db user the system doesn't check if the db name or db users allready exists.

in that way i ran into trouble when i created a db user for a new db that allready existed in cpanel. the website that worked with that user in the config went offline and it took some time for me to figure out what the problem was.

i think it should be nice if there should be a check when creating a new db or dbuser so you don't get into trouble like i went into.

Rather than wait for the patch, could you please submit a ticket? There is no cost associated. So long as you have root SSH on the boxes, you can use WHM > Support Center > Contact cPanel or use the link in my signature.
