Seem like for a while now mysql doesnt automatically start up on reboot i have to log into whm and restart it manually. Where do I look to see why this isnt starting or how can I fix it.
    Any suggestions :)

I have this same problem. I just installed a fresh Cpanel installation, and when I reboot, mysql fails during startup, and I have to run the /scripts/restart_svc_mysql - ugh.

The only crazy thing I did was install tomcat (the add-on through the web interface), but I didn't reboot before I installed it and so I am not sure whether this problem was present before tomcat.

Regardless, is there an updated version of the mysql rc script that works with cpanel?
