SQUIRREL MAIL -- clicking CC [more..] link generates an error

    When clicking an e-mail that contains multiple-CC , BCC or To: e-mail addresseses, squirrel / imap server generates an error.

    ERROR:
    ERROR: Could not complete request.
    Query: SELECT ""
    Reason Given: Mailbox does not exist, or must be subscribed to.


    my hosting tech support says it's a bug... is anybody out there experiecing this problem?

    It's a bug in Squirrelmail that will be fixed in their next release.

    We are having the same issue, although I dont think its a bug with sqmail as much as bug with cpanel/sqmail. You can download and install 1.4.9a which is the same build as cpanel has. And not run into this issue.

    It is a bug, but you have a cure for it, check out this thread:

    But even if it has been fixed by the server admin, it will appear again once upcp takes place.

    Hence it will need to be fixed again & then again.

    May be chattr +i can stop that happening.
