None of my customers can access through squirrelmail any more. Mail can be received via neomail or Outlook Express, but squirrel just loops the log-in error page over and over on every account. Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions? It seems to have begun the night Hurricane Francis hit florida....

    Same here...

We're experiencing the same thing here. I think it started a little bit before Francis for us, but the outcome is the same...

    Fixing IMAP

ssh into your server, and copy this into the command line:

    cp /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/imapd /usr/sbin/

    service xinetd restart

    should fix the problem immediately.

What happened is that up2date updated imap to a version that cpanel couldn't use. This changes it back to the cpanel version. :)

 Try rolling cpanel back to the last stable version, then type in:

    /scripts/fixmailman

    see if that helps

Does the imap problem still exist? According to another post, they say you can now allow up2date to update imap with no problems. I just want to verify though.

I saw an entry in the changelog a while back that said something to that effect. And after the newest stable came out, to test it I recently updated imap from up2date, and it didn't break webmail. So I'm thinking it's fine now and removed imap* from the up2date skip list.
