I am running latest release version of cpanel, my squirrelmail is outdated. Tried to run up2date -u.

Up2date will not proceed unless I update Squirrelmail.

Squirrelmail tries to update http and php to latest versions, in which they already are.

    Have fatel unpack problems.

    Any help please.

    Thank you in addvance.

    Go on, have a guess
You should not install the squirrelmail that comes with up2date (i.e. exclude it). cPanel uses a different version and installation from that provided by RH. If you want to be sure that you have the latest version that cPanel uses then you should update cPanel to the latest version of your tree:

    Hello,

I am using cPanel 10.8.1-R30 on RedHat 9 i686 box.

I would like to add plugins available on the Squirrelmail website which will enable
all outgoing mails to be sent in HTML format.

Any help on this how to do.....

you'll either have to chattr +i the squirrelmail directories so cpanel doesn't update them anymore and then install the latest sqirrelmail with plugins that you want...

or install your new squirrelmail somewhere else and go change httpd.conf for /webmail to goto the new spot instead of cpanel default.
