    Hi,

    I upgraded to squirrelmail, but instead of logging once into WEBMAIL, users have to login again once they click the squirrelmail logo to login to squirrelmail.

    Is there a way to disable this? Thanks for any info!

    What Squirrelmail version did you upgrade to?

    I think the answer is no, there is no way around this.

    I am facing the same double login problem! If one points directly to webmail.php, it shows the error "You must be logged in to access this page." This is even worse, as you now have to click a link, then login again.

    This is the same too.

    1. You see the browser authentication (popup dialog box to enter username and password)
    2. Then, you login and see the squirrelmail login box inside the webpage.

    Any other ideas? I have also detailed my problem in this thread. Thanks for any thoughts!

    I see, it sometimes logs me in directly, sometimes requires a second squirrelmail login. Maybe cookie related or smth.

    Possible solution

    Hi, I think all you need to do is:

    nano /usr/local/cpanel/base/3rdparty/squirrelmail/config/config.php

    and add

    $plugins[0] = 'cpanel_auth';

    exactly here:

    Code:
    // Add list of enabled plugins here
    $plugins[0] = 'cpanel_auth';
    I hope it helps.... :cool:
