We recently made extensive changes to SquirrelMail - including nutsmail skin and several plugins - but as usual some people have complained that it's "not like it used to be"....

We made a backup copy of the default squirrel install, and initially simply changing squirrelmail in the URL to squirrel.old served the original version, but now it gives a "Not found" error.

All the files are intact, and both versions work provided their directory is named squirrelmail, but is there a way to make both work, so users can use newsquirrel or squirrelmail, for example?

Check the permissions and ownership, as well as the httpd.conf directives for the new directory.

    Thanks -

permissions and ownerships seem right, but what should be in httpd.conf?

the alternative squirrel installs can only be accessed via port 2082 - any suggetsions how to make the alternative addresses load while on port 2095, so that we can add them into the webmail screen?
