ssh disconnects when installing cpanel

    HI

    everytime i try installing cpanel on my red hat 9 server. P4 2.0 Ghz and 256 ram i keep getting disconnected from ssh. whats wrong? :mad:

    Disconnected from server

    You should tail the log files that are created during the installation in /var/log/cpanel* for more information on what might be happening. It might be an idea to temporarily allow telnet access and use that just for the installation if it keeps happening.

    OK it's finally working BUT.. It's been installing for 2 and half hours now and more of those dots keep appearing. I thought it only takes up to around 1 hour and 10 mins?

    UPDATE: been 3 hours and still installing.

    It can take a while sometimes. As before, you need to tail those logs files to see what it is doing.
