I was out of town for two days. I got home and to my surprise I can't SSH to one of my boxes located in a data center. If I attempt to SSH using putty or secure ssh I get connection refused.

If I use normal telnet to connect to port 22 I get the openssh version number like normal.

If I use cpanel to internally ssh to the box I get the error: Failed to read messages.
Then I'm disconnected. Anyone have any clues as to what I can do here?

I believe the last thing I installed was GnuTLS but ssh was working since then.

    Yea

Yea I tried that a few times. I've since fixed the issue. Port 22 was inproperly filtered. I was able to get a tech to login to box and change the port and it worked fine. Now its back on the proper port and the issue has been resolved.
