ssh super user problem

    hello

    today when i tried to Update System Software from whm i got this message :


    Error Message:
    Please run rhn_register (or up2date --register on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 3 or later)
    as root on this client
    Error Class Code: 9
    Error Class Info: Invalid System Credentials.
    Explanation:
    An error has occurred while processing your request. If this problem
    persists please enter a bug report at bugzilla.redhat.com.
    If you choose to submit the bug report, please be sure to include
    details of what you were trying to do when this error occurred and
    details on how to reproduce this problem.

    Testing connection speed...(this could take a while)....Done
    Three usable mirrors located

    CPAN: Storable loaded ok


    then i tried to login to ssh as root and i got this message :(


    fsetup@cpanel [/]# su
    -bash: /bin/su: Permission denied


    im sure fsetup is in wheel group but i tried to add another wheel group user but nothing changed im still getting this error :(

    please help

    You most probably need to contact your datacenter if this is a leased server and have them fix the RHN/up2date registration for your RHE installation.

    Could be. Though the permissions error suggest that the user isn't a member of the wheel group. If you do add a user to the wheel group and are logged into that user, you must first logout and back in again - also the user mustn't be in jailshell (needs full shell).
