Seems like I get disconnected when I'm idle via ssh for a certain unknown period. I'd like to change this idle timeout value but I can't seem to find how cpanel sets this.

Does anybody know where its set? I checked sshd config file, but I didn't see anything there (unless I glossed over it?)

    Thanks.

    Hello @Haba4568,

The SSH service shouldn't terminate a connection if you are using the default settings. For instance, ClientAliveInterval should be commented out by default on CentOS. EX:

    Code:
    grep ClientAliveInterval /etc/ssh/sshd_config
    #ClientAliveInterval 0
It's likely the timeout stems from your local SSH client. Here's a third-party URL that may help you with this:

    Linux SSH Timeout

    Thank you.
