SSHD down + console messages

    The console is getting a constant
    stream of messages, all pretty much the same.

    OUT_TCP Drop In=eth0, Out=eth0, SRC=X.X.X.X DST=X.X.X.X

    The DST IP address changes from message to message, the SRC
    stays the same.

    Also iam unable to ssh to the server. The server has not been compromised; says the DC.

    Any ideas?

    Those are IPTABLES firewall messages. Odds are a firewall was installed (or reconfigured) and you've now locked yourself out of the server. You'll need someone at the console to turn off IPTABLES so you can get back in and investigate.

    thnx budy... i already did an

    iptables -F

    via the DC and i was back at the server.

    I have the same problem... but I cant connect through SSH, the sshd is down... how can I fix it??

    call your DC!

    no other way to fix it.

    if it is just that the ssh is down; and http is up.. you can do a restart of ssh via the WHM :) but.. significantly luck does matter here.. the best is to get in touch with the DC.
