I am thinking to generate a self-signing cert within WHM and using OpenSSL and then use the cert to secure my server access. Can it be possibly done? And, any one has experience on this?

    1 . e.g. my hostname is server.abc.com
    2. I then invoke a CSR action within WHM for my host (i.e. server.abc.com)
    3. I expect the CSR and Cert files to send to me by email
    4. Install the Cert in WHM
    5. Start to access server.abc.com with https
    6. Ask cpanel to redirect to use https upon login

Is it the logical steps I should follow?

    Thank you for advice.
