    Hello

    I have a server with 1 IP
I would like to install an SSL to: thisismydomain.com
    Server hostname is: hostname.thisismydomain.com

Can I install an SSL to thisismydomain.com or do I need to order one more IP from datacenter?

or how can I install SSL to my domain without ordering one more IP? I am able to change my hostname to anything.

    thank you

    Zoltan

So you want to install the SSL on a subdomain. You can do it on the subdomain. Just keep in mind only 1 SSL per account is allowed in Cpanel.

    Hello :)

You can install one certificate on a shared IP address by using "nobody" as the username. However, this is not recommended. This method allows other accounts on the same IP address to use the SSL certificate. I highly recommend obtaining an additional IP address and assigning it to the account that you want the SSL certificate installed on.

    Thank you.
