SSL Cert...questions...

Ive done at least 20 of these right, but havent done one in a while and am having a brain fart, so Im gonna ask one dumb question...

when Im generating a signing cert, whos info goes in there? It is the customers' info, right? where it says host to make cert for, I put his domain, right?

Told you it was gonna be a dumb question...any help would be appreciated.

You put in all the customers information and their domain name in the host field. Otherwise, the certificate authority will not issue the certificate as they need to verify the contact information and even if they did, it would not work on the customer’s domain name if you generated it for your own domain.
