SSL Certificate For Dedicated Server

Ok I am about as new as anyone can get with whm and cpanel. Please advise on course of action.

this is an example:
I have a dedicated server named server.testing.com
I also have a domain name with name of testing.com
Now I have many domains on this dedicated server. I know for a fact I would need to buy an SSL certificate for each one. But what I am doing is sending them all to https://server.testing.com:2096 for access to webmail and get an error saying There is a problem with this website’s security certificate. I want to get rid of that error.

What I am asking is do I have to buy one SSL or wildcard SSL or can I use a free one that some sites sale for the server itself and once you all direct me to right certificate, do I need to install into cpanel of domain name or through whm under manage SSL certificate.

Plus tell me how to install it, Hoster wants to charge me 165.00 to do it.

you have to buy one for server.testing.com and install it on Service SSL Certificates
or
you can buy a wild card for testing.com and install on Service SSL Certificates & SSL Certificate on a Domain

Yes, you can simply purchase a single commercial SSL certificate for your hostname and install it for each service via:

"WHM Home » Service Configuration » Manage Service SSL Certificates"
