    Hello,

I have a customer that has sent me a CSR and CRT file. Their account has a dedicated IP address and now I need to configure it for SSL. I am using the Install SSL certificate function via WHM. I copied and pasted the CRT, entered the domain name, account name, and dedicated ip address for that account. I then clicked Do it and received the following error message: "Sorry that is not a valid certificate." What must I do to get this working?

Please let me know if you have any ideas.

    Thank you!

The CSR is useless to you... it's sent to the signing authority for them to generate a certificate. It stands for Certificate Signing Request.

You need the signed certificate sent back by the signing authority, and the key file that should have been created when the CSR was. Was the CSR generated through cpanel on the same server? Look for the key file named after the domain in question.
