    Hello everyone. I have installed a SSL certificate for secure.domain.com today after the user emailed me their CSR.

    When I visit https://secure.theirdomain.com, it takes me to their main "domain.com" 's index.html page but SSL secured.

    If I go http://secure.theirdomain.com, I see an "Index Of /" page because they havent uploaded anything to the secure subdomain yet.

    How can I have the SSL certificate at https://secure.domain.com show whats on the subdomain https://secure.domain.com?

    Thanks

    -Mark

    Go on, have a guess
    If you edit your httpd.conf file and look for the secure.domain.com virtualhost container that serves port 443, usually:

    <VirtualHost 11.22.33.44:443>
    ...
    </VirtualHost>

    Within that directive there should be a DocumentRoot line, you should be able to change that to the correct sub-directory and then restart httpd.

    Thanks, but is there any way to do this within WHM? This should be working right :confused:

    If not, will editing the httpd.conf manually like that cause inconstincies with cPanel/WHM?

    Thanks

    Wel, yes, WHM certainly should work :(

    However, making the change in httpd.conf should not make any difference to cPanel/WHM at all.

    I've looked in the httpd.conf and I found this.....

    That doesnt say anything about "secure.domain.com" so I'm not sure if thats what you mean.

    Okay, I reinstalled the SSL after deleting it, and did the httpd.conf pointer to the right directory and it works now.

    Thanks
