I want the "Purchase & Install a SSL Certificate" eliminated as an option at "WHM/SSL/TLS". Or at least to be able to disable the option in my Reseller's WHM.

First, it cuts into my own brand offers.

Second, the only option is through InstantSSL that offers Comodo SSL Certs. They cannot be installed via WHM, and are a pain to install manually (as they need to be) See:

    http://www.instantssl.com/ssl-certificate-support/cert_installation/ssl-certificate-mod_ssl.html

Even then, it gets sticky, because WHM don't write the private.key to the account, so the private.key isn't already there as stated in the install instructions.

Is there anyway to disable this option altogether? Or are we being forced-fed?

Am I alone? How do you feel? Vote!

I've never had any problems installing Comodo certs via WHM.

Mine installed easily also. I do think it should be an option though for resellers, but it is for me because of my custom WHM skin.

I have had NOTHING but trouble from Comodo. I wish there were other choices, like freessl.com. I will never do business with Comodo again.

I feel it should have the ability to be disabled, not just eliminated. That seems pretty severe, as some users do use instantssl to purchase their certificates.

I haven't had any problems installing the Comodo certs through WHM.

Sounds serious. I'm happy with them. I got my SSL 1 year ago and just renewed with 2 months extra time. I also have a client who got one through me. I've never had a problem yet.

Every company has unhappy customers. I remember when I signed up for a credit card solution that all I ever heard was great stuff about. 2 months later I quit using my account.

I'm even considering becoming a Comodo reseller.

Hmmm, it's possible that it's me, and my lack of expertise in this area!?!
