This occurs in both the latest versions of Chrome and Firefox.

    https://theservername.com:2087 results in:

    This webpage is not available

    ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

A secure connection cannot be established because this site uses an unsupported protocol or cipher suite. This is likely to be caused when the server needs RC4, which is no longer considered secure.

Wildcard cert which is installed on other servers which have no problems at this time.

http:// and port 2086 redirects to https and the hostname. Same as IP base. Restarting the cpanel service does nothing. Where can one update the cpanel service SSL cipher setup from shell?

Or you could try another browser to get back in and update your server properly.

These browser settings no longer are available it appears or require a download of a separate browser such as Chromium. How can one update this for the cpanel/whm service via a command line?

I got a tweak working in Firefox:

about:config", in the URL entry text box.

You may see the warning..."This might void your warranty"....Click on "I'll be careful, I promise"

Next, it will display the internal hidden configs.

Scroll down and lookup for "security.ssl3.rsa_rc4_40_md5" and double click on the line to change the Value from "false" to "true"
