    Hello There,

I finally got an SSL cert installed for a client, but I have an issue. When you try to access https via it says "Domain Name Mismatch" blah blah blah... Domain says but certificate says

Why is this a problem? I got a certificate for the base , why shouldn't it work for both www. and .

    Anyone have a solution.

Because that is the way SSL certs work. They are for a specific domain. In your case, it is for is actually a subdomain that is parked on as a convenience due to the accepted usage of www with most domain names. You could get a wildcat cert to cover the domain and all subdomains, but the cost is higher. This is not a cpanel specific issue, but is actually just the way SSL certs work.
