    Hello,
I created a cname (dl.mywebsite.com) and pointed to domain.com. I need to add ssl to that cname.
If I buy wildcard cert and install it will it work on that cname?
Is it possible to use auto ssl and lets encrypt with some changes to Apache? if yes how?

    Thanks

I need to add ssl to a CNAME. Is there any workaround to make ssl work with cname if I buy ssl or it is not possible ?

    Hello,

Does the host only exist as a CNAME DNS record, or are you also adding it as an alias or addon domain name on an account? Could you provide some more details about the purpose of the CNAME entry?

    Thank you.

    I have the same issue,

I am using the CNAME to serve my static files by my CDN service.

For example cdn.domain.com is pointing to something.netdna.com.

    Looking forward to your reply.

    Hello,

Could you let us know the specific issue you are facing? The AutoSSL validation process should succeed as long as it can fetch the DCV TXT file created in the account's public_html directory.

    Thank you.
