I recently setup ssl for accessing cpanel ... here's what i did :
Bought the cert , generated CSR , then i clicked 'managel ssl certs.' in the service configuration menu and installed the new cert for cpanel/whm..

The cert works fine in chrome... but gives an unknown issuer error in FF and IE

    WHat should i do ?

    Hello :)

Please ensure you pasted the CA Bundle into the third field when installing the certificate via:

"WHM >> Service Configuration >> Manage Service SSL Certificates"

Without the CA Bundle, some browsers may indicate the certificate is not trusted. Your SSL provider should have a CA Bundle available to you.

    Thank you.

    Hey,

I have 3 files from my ssl provider :
    AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt
    PositiveSSLCA2.crt
    mydomain.crt (the cert)

which one is supposed to be pasted in the third field ?

Your SSL provider will be able to let you know which exact file to use as your CABundle. Typically, it would be a combination of the text from the following files you referenced:

    PositiveSSLCA2.crt
    AddTrustExternalCARoot.crt

    Thank you.
