Hi,

I get the error "SSL install aborted due to error: ok" when trying to install a wildcard SSL certificate using WHM 11.32.4 as follows:

  1. Click on Install a SSL Certificate and Setup the Domain.
  2. Paste the CRT
  3. Change "*.mydomain.com" to "mydomain.com" in the Domain box.
  4. In the IP box, change 0 the the correct IP address.
  5. Paste the private key.
  6. Paste the CA bundle.
  7. Click Submit.
The domain already exists with its own IP address, and it has a separate SSL certificate explicitly for www.mydomain.com. The server is running RHEL 6.2 with Apache 2.2.22.

What did I do wrong?

Thanks

I had to install it on to the main IP as nobody first, then it would allow me to install it on subdomains without getting the error... Weird.

Hi,

Have you tried to manually install the certificate from back-end? Sometimes even after providing the correct certificate details, WHM abort the installation due to some error. In all those case, installation from shell was successful in my case.

Cheers!!!
