SSL install error

Hello,
I'm having problems installing a SSL certificate for a domain. I have installed SSL certs for servers using cpanel but here I got stuck and I requeste some help. This is the error I get in Cpanel menus :

Attempting to verify your certificate..... Cerificate verification passed!
Verifcation Result [/C=US/O=adultspace.com/OU=GT42997709/OU=See www.rapidssl.com/cps (c)05/OU=Domain Control Validated - RapidSSL(R)/CN=adultspace.com]
The CRT for the domain adultspace.com could not be installed. Apache produced the following errors:
Finished Install Process..

Looking in cpanel error_log I can see this :
unable to load certificate
28563:error:0906D06C:PEM routines:PEM_read_bio:no start line:pem_lib.c:632:Expecting: TRUSTED CERTIFICATE

I can't figure out what's wrong here. I am using WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-R57.

Hello,

I found meantime that I was running apache without ssl. It was compiled with ssl support but is was not started. I started apache with startssl but the cpanel still doesnt let me install the ssl cert for my domain.
