    Use the hostname command

Use the hostname command to change your server's hostname:

    # hostname mynewhostname.mydomain.tld

Use the desired hostname instead of mynewhostname.mydomain.tld. This is the same as using Main >> Networking Setup >> Change Hostname in the WebHost Manager.

Also, from the shell, edit the files /etc/hosts and /etc/sysconfig/network and make sure they contain the correct hostname.
Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
