    Hi,

I have a dedicated box. I have setup a reseller account on the server with 2 ips.

    ns1.mydomain.com
    ns2.mydomain.com

1)Can I use the ip assigned to ns1.mydomain for SSL and order a certificate for www.mydomain.com?

2)If not what is the procedure(pass this question if the 1st one can be done) to setup the certificate. Do I have to assign a dedicated ip address for http only?

3)Can the accounts created by my reseller account use my certificate?

    Thanks

Nameserver IP's can also be used for accounts (websites) and sites have to have a dedicated IP for an SSL certificate. If you create your account using the ns1 IP as it's dedicated IP, it will work as far as getting a certificate.

The only way for other accounts to use the certificate is to use https://yoursecureURL/~username/theirsecurepage.html. They can't use your certificate for their own secure URL.
