Is this possible with cPanel? We would like to have multiple SSL sites running scripts from the same directory, and as the same user. That is, we'd have e.g https://ssl.examplesite1.com/ and https://ssl.examplesite2.com/ both of which have the same DocumentRoot /home/exampleuser/public_html and both of which are SSL-enabled (and thus have unique IPs).

I don't have spare domains and SSL certs around to just try it out... :T
    Thanks in advance!

It is not possible to assign multiple IP addresses to a regular, single cPanel account at this time. You can do that with reseller accounts, but not an individual cPanel account.

SSL on parked domains as reseller

We're running cPanel on a dedicated server, and right now we are running one "main" account as a reseller, and a group of other accounts as owned by that reseller. You said it's possible with a reseller account. By this do you mean simply that a reseller account can switch between the various sub-accounts, or is there something more possible? More specifically, what I'm trying to determine is whether it is possible to run multiple SSL hosts via the same DocumentRoot?

It *may* be possible with a reseller account, only because they can create subdomains as separate accounts. From that you can manually create a solution to ensure both accounts use the same DocumentRoot.

Of course, if you plan on serving CGI or PHP scripts, and wish to use SuExec or SuPHP, this creates a new set of problems.
