    Hello,

I've installed a SSL to my root account however this error has appeared.

    Success!
Warning: attempt to install ssl with a virtual host that runs as root. This is a major security problem. For your protection, this virtual host will be installed to run with a user of 'nobody'
    Certificate verification passed

also when I try to access my main domain with SSL. It comes up with the 500 Internal Server Error.

    Any help?

    Pete

You should not have any websites or anything running under the 'root' user. Create a master user for them, but using 'root' to run websites or independent programs is a no-no.

My main website has it's own username and doesn't run under root.

    Any help on this problem?
