    Hello,

I bought an ssl to get rid of that warning when my cpanel users sign in. The trouble is I installed the SSL cert, and the old certificate and warning is showing up.

I have heard I need to delete the old Crts with the subdomain cpanel.mydomain.net and then install the new cert.

Does anyone know how to delete the old self signed cert. There seems to be no way with the WHM GUI.

If anyone one knows, please share the info.

    Thanks

    Ben T.

in WHM >> Web SSL/TLS >> Delete a SSL Host

    or from shell

    cd /usr/share/ssl/certs

    remove the cert you need

    thanks,

I also deleted them manually in shell, but that wasn't the issue.
Yeah I found out why it was giving me the error.
My customers were signing in from my site. Basically after installing the main domain's SSL as a server certificate it got rid of the warning.

Hope this helps out someone else. I know I would have appreciated it.

I am having the same problem.

My cPanel server is setup as xxx.example.com and all cpanel requests are forwarded to https://xxx.example.com:2083

I have bought a new SSL cert from comodo and set it up using the Change cPanel/WHM Certificate in WHM.
I paste in the CRT and CA Bundle and this is the result:

I then goto xxx.example.com/cpanel/ and get the warning up again saying that the certificate is not signed by a trusted source! (which I know comodo is) when looking further at the certificate given to the browser it is still the old one.

I have manuall deleted all keys and crt files through SSH and I still have this problem.

    Any ideas?

How to manually delete a certificate?

I try to remove a certificate I created by mistake as ".domain.com" WHM does not allow me - it says
Sorry ".domain.com" is not a valid domain name

I went to /usr/share/ssl/certs and deleted 3 crt and 1 csr file
    and from /usr/share/ssl/private I deleted 3 keys
but cPanel in "List SSL Hosts" still shows ".domain.com" !
So how can I get rid of a certificate completely?
