Ssl + webmail

    Hi,

    we are looking add secure access to webmail/cpanel server wide.

    What certificated should we adquiere for this?
    webmail.server.com
    or
    server.com?


    If anyone has done this any help / or hint will be most welcome,

    Hello :)

    By default, a self-signed certificate is installed for cPanel/WHM/Webmail. This allows SSL access, however a browser warning appears noting it's a self-signed certificate. If you purchase a commercial certificate, you can install it for cPanel/WHM/Webmail via:

    "WHM >> Service Configuration >> Manage Service SSL Certificates"

    Ideally, you should purchase it for the hostname of your server.
