Good day all,
We have 6 Cloudlinux WHM/CPanel servers on version "cPanel & WHM v102.0.15". Each server has at about 50 websites running on it. Since 2/3 weeks we are experiencing SSL issues with some accounts on all of these servers. The specific message is as follow:

SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN

Next to this message it shows that the certificate is only valid for a different domain (another domain on the same server).

What do we know so far?
- This only happens to accounts with "Manage SSL Hosts -> Primary Website on IP Address?" is set to "Yes". All the accounts with the setting "No" do not have the problem.
- It looks like the error occurs at random. Some days we dont have any issues and today we had the issue twice.
- After a lot of investigation we found out that the only solution to get this account running again is to go to "Assign IPv6 Address" and enable IPv6 for a random account. After this we disable IPv6 for this account again. Now we restart "Apache Web Server" and "PHP-FPM service for Apache". The problem problem is solved now and the "SSL_ERROR_BAD_CERT_DOMAIN" is not showing anymore.

To me this looks like a problem with IPv6 or a Apache config problem but we were not able to find the solution yet.

We are looking forward to your support. Thank you already!

Hi cPRex, I waited a few days before replying because I was monitoring the CPANEL-40507 post. Eventually the issues experienced in this post are matching the issues we have. I will follow this ticket. This one can be closed. Thank you for your reply.
