Stable 11.40 available ?

I received an notice last week about the release of Version 11.40 for Stable Tier but as of this morning we are still using the 11.38 version and still have the notice at the top of the WHM "The last attempt to update cPanel & WHM was blocked but nothing indicated in the daily update logs. Has the release for the Stable Tier being delayed ??

Hello

cPanel version 11.40 has not yet been pushed to the "Stable" build tier. It's currently scheduled to be pushed out to this tier in the first week of December, but keep in mind that unforeseen issues can always change those plans. Let us know if you experience any issues updating your build of cPanel.

Ok no problem was just wondering. I was going by the email notice I got last week that 11.40 for the Stable Tier was being released around the 18th.

The update block notice in my WHM has been there now of a week or so, will this be removed once the update goes through or do I need to remove it manually, if so, how do you remove that notice ??

Try updating cPanel via the command line:

/scripts/upcp --force

Do you notice any particular messages indicating why the update is blocked?

I'm a bit hesitant forcing an update if it not actual ready to update to the Stable Tier through the normal nightly updates.

Updating cPanel will not change the build tier you are on. If you are on the "Stable" build tier, it will simply force an update to the latest 11.38 build, or output an error related to the blocker.

Ok that seem to remove the blocked update message, using the --force option, in the WHM now.
