I can't seem to get Cpanel to update to Stable-6. During the update it says it's updating to Stable-6, but afterwards WHM shows Release-5.

    Anyone else see this?

    Thanks,
    Richard

    Same problem here.

Is it patching the formmail holes or not? Or should we upgrade to Edge?

Just found a server that didnt upgrade yet.

The following was displayed in WHM News:

Security Please update to 6.4.2 build 4 or later as soon as possible to close a hole in the Formmail-clone.cgi script that allows spammers to send out unwanted email.
    Severity:

    Please Click Here to Upgrade

    So that's why!

Well as you can all probably see there is a "Support Ticket Number:" on the forums when you post now, the trouble is it doesnt not add it if you don't put one which is annoying!

Yea, it would be nice if it left it out.

Edit: You can get rid of it when you edit a post though.

lol Well, It does not bother me a bit for it being there, I just hadn't noticed the support box and I really don't care to edit everyone of my post to remove the entry lol..

I've got a server bouncing back and forth between stable 6 and release 5 each time /scripts/upcp is run. WHM consistently shows R5 though even when it's clear it just installed S6 (yes, I refreshed browser cache). WHM option has Stable selected.

Unfortunately, the formail from each update does not match the binary posted by Nick so no idea if this hole is really plugged on servers doing this.

Any ideas? Is there a config file somewhere that might have a double entry for release and stable perhaps.
