I've have had cpanel for 3 months now. I have not made it more than a week without it going down. I create a new site and there is a 50% chance something is not going to install correcttly. Then I have to delete the site. login into ssh an d go to the root delete the username. Then roll the apache config back.. I have not yet deployed a resellers site yet, because they can't log in the root to make theses changes. I just would like to know how they call this stable?

Yeah, if they sit there with no hits and you do not add any sites. What is the sense?

I still yet to find a server that offers a resellers package.

And for your problems are much more than cpanel, most likly you should see a doctor for them. You can't even give a number on how many of the thous servers there are. Just over 10. The number after 10 is 11.

I really don't know how you can answer my question, If you can't even count past 10.

What bothers me about people like you is that you ask a question, and you have some liar such as yourself give you a debate. Like it's not happen, but yet you can not prove that you even know of one site that has the abilitiy to offer this without going down everyday. I see you write 10 plus servers and hundreds of domains on each. But where are they on some other internet?

Further more I don't believe you have a server other wise you would be aware of this problem.

And why don't you quit trying to post replies to question you eighter do not know nothing about or voicing your appinion for people that you eighter do not know or they do not know you.

I want answers not some haluisonating answers. I'll go to the bar if I what someone to answer the question with bunch of bull****. {IN OTHER WORDS IF YOU CAN'T ANSWER THE QUESTION WITH SOME INTELLEGENTS THAN DON'T REPLY}

And for your upwards of a hundred on each box.. I would like to let know you should be able to put them all on one server. Then get rid of the other 9. Leaving with one server and 1000 domains on it.

Hi, it's true that from times to times upgrading will cause trouble...but generally the situation is stable. I don't think it's cpanel's fault that your server goes down that often. Myself and others have experienced and will experience various issues related to cpanel, but I have never experienced the &every week down& because of cpanel.

Find a person with experience and let him check your server. Hope you can find a solution soon.

toplevelhost, instead of generalizing your problems like &I create a new site and there is a 50% chance something is not going to install correctly&, you should give us some specifics as to what goes wrong when you create an account.

thephantom, whom you are calling a liar, is actually a reseller guru and he just gave his opinion. By attacking people like that without any foundation shows that you are not a serious complainer.

toplevelhost,

Go find that bar! I have added 5 domains to my cpanel server over the past week. I have not had a single problem. I know companies using cpanel that add a whole lot more than that, and they have no problems either.

I have no idea what your problem is, and I am certainly not saying, and neither has anybody else, that your problem is real. All we are saying is that it does not seem to be a cpanel problem that affects all servers.

You may not think so, but it is helpful to know if a problem is specific to a single server or if it is endemic to all servers with cpanel installed.

Good luck in solving your problem, but with the attitude you have shown, I really doubt that you will find a quick resolution.

Toplevelhost: did you have submitted tickets about this? Did any admin login to see what is wrong? Did you ask nick for help?

Believe us that all of us know what it is like when servers go down and stay down for an unknown reason. We know what you feel but please don't bleam it on us and use that time instead to find a solution for your problem.

hundreds and hundreds of domains ..uptime manytimes more than 100 days. I think it is important to note that cPanel machines host hundreds of thousands of domains throughout the world. If cpanel was all that bad no one could use it !!!!

Hrm... I dont understand what's your problem really...
you may have your server misconfigured ... dunno.

I've had cpanel for about 5 months or so... and it work perfectly. I also run reseller accounts with multiple domains each (do you want one? :) ) some problems I had was not directly related to cpanel (like the recent php 4.2.3 mb issue).
Not to mention that I'm following the edge tree without a single problem (I have auto update...)
One problem I have had is when I try to compile apache while it's running... I get loooooooooots of core.#### dumps that fills my disk lol ;) ... so I need to have little downtime for this.

If you explain a little better your problem, maybe someone experienced could help you, there are a lot of gurus out there that have some free time to write a message (and I'm not talking about me... hehe)

So... let's see...
what's your problem ?

You trolling bitch. Why would you attack someone that was just trying to relate their experience to you? Take a hint, stupid. Cpanel isn't the problem. The real problem lies somewhere the chair and the keyboard.
