Due to recent issues with local power in Houston, we've decided to postpone our release until the extreme heat passes. Our grid was struck by a spike due to hundred degree temperatures today and temperatures are supposed to peak close to one hundred degrees again tomorrow. As temperatures are forecasted to drop to the nineties on Wednesday, we've pushed back our release schedule by one day (to 8/15). We want to ensure that we have the capability to have our office running at one hundred percent so we can properly serve our customers through this release cycle. We apologize for any inconvenience this delay may cause.

I'm guessing there going to release it on the 15th @ 11:59pm GMT-12 or something, waiting up untill the early hours to check the update goes in is getting a little frustrating... I guess I should do the update manually once its confirmed, but i'm too excited for that :)

Will there be an announcement/post on here once the update is released, so I can do a manual update then if i'm still awake ?

I'm in the UK btw, GMT+1 at the moment as its summer :)

Doesn't look like they are quite that ready, I've been getting this for some time now while running /scripts/upcp

Checking again....
Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/STABLE/scripts/.cpanelsync.lock (0)[email protected]%......Done
The update server is currently updating its files.
It may take up to 30 minutes before access can be obtained.
Waiting 30 seconds for access to the update server......

we have just make update for one of ours test servers and for now its all ok.

if you have mysql 5.0.24 it will be upgrade to MySQL 5.0.27
(only mysql is about 3 min. offline and we must make mysql restart via SSH)

if you have custom ACL for exim, smart cpanel will get that and send notice on your email with detail instructions what to do.

A+ for cpanel stuff.

bye, SC

PS. for David and cgi email script working fine :)
