Staff/Admin Controls

    Hi.

    I was wondering... When I hire someone to work for me, how do I give them SSH access with persmissions close to root?

    It aint much good having staff when they cant do anything :S

    Its not a very good idea to give out SSH access to someone which can have permissions like root.

    Why do you need to do that?

    If this &staff& is your Server Admin...
    give him root.

    If not... just give a normal ssh account.

    or you can put someone in the &root& group....
    but is not a good idea...

    TO BE or not TO BE ...
    that's is the question ...

    so, give root, or not, there's no middle here... :)
