    Heres the scenario.

I need a mail server, standa alone. Basically this will hold mail for a few domains, companies that want a stable email solution. They will also have seperate hard drives for their mail. We are looking at moderate to normal usage of the server.

    My question is...

What SMTP and POP3 packages should I use? What ones do you suggest and why?

    Some have suggested the following

    QMail for SMTP
Courier Mail (all in one inclusing package)

I was thinking Exim as SMTP because I know it.... but what POP3 would integrate seamlessly with it? As obviously cppop from cpanel is proprietary.

Any suggestions or comments would be greatly apreciated.
