If you do a search on the forums you'll find a thread that explains why that's happening. Basically it won't work with perl 5.8.0 and you need to upgrade to 5.8.7 using the installer on http://layer1.cpanel.net

    Hello Chirpy,

I know previously 5.8.7 would break a few things. SpamAssassin in particular. Does the latest cPanel stable build have any issues with 5.8.7? I am running 5.8.0 at the moment and I noticed runstatsonce and runlogsnow are both broken now.

I'm not aware of a single issue with the v5.8.7 installer, that's been the standard build with new cPanel installs for months.

Then there are no large issues with it as of 4+ months and it is safe to assume most scripts have been updated accordingly.

    Thanks.

tranks for the aid! How I bring up to date the Perl? I brought up to date cpanel and is appearing an error again in the Perl. The error of stats still remains! How I can decide this?
