This server is running cPanel Build 9.7.2-CURRENT 11. Stats seem to update for every account but 1. When I run the runweblogs script and try to manually run the stast for this account I get the following message.

The user reports stats failing to update once we upgraded to the build of cpanel that we are currently using. When I visit the new Stats Confiruation applet Webalizer, Analog and Awstats are all checked. When I manually run stats on any other account on that server the process completes with out a problem.

The account is not in risk of being over their alloted disk space so I am somewhat at a loss as to whats going on.

To update I did a /upcp --force and updated to version 9.7.3-C4 but I still get the same result.

When looking in the accounts /log/ folder the log files are being updated as they all have the time/date stamp of today.

In order to update the awstats in cpanel / whm server use the following commands

    Check this :

    1. Login to shell
    2. cd /home/username/tmp/awstats
    3. locate awstats.pl
    4. cp /usr/local/cpanel/base/awstats.pl .
    5. chown usrname:usrname awstats.pl
    6. perl awstats.pl - config=domain - update
    7. Check awstats in cpanel now.

    ---------------------------------------

Awstats problem - doesn't display full summary stats!

How will chown'ing the awstats.pl script affect the other 100+ accounts on the server when it comes to stat compulation? Also how will this fix webalizer and analog stats that dont comple for this user?

As today a client told me we have the same issue. Most accounts update their stats normally, except for a few. Once we ran /scripts/runweblog sometimes awstats was updated, but webalizer still not. I will include the output here:

The errors for dns_cache.db is a strange one, all the dates and time (also for good working accounts) are the same, the userperms are right. so this beats me...

What I found was a config file in the /tmp direcotry. I cant recall the name of the confit but it was something like stats.conf. In this file there was the individual stats applications and then either a YES or NO beside them. As best I can guess this file was written with the help of the new stats config feature in cpanel. Now while the stats config feature showed all the stats as being checked when I looked at this config file they where listed as NO. After changing them to YES I reran the stats and everything worked. YOu might want to check there.

    Here is the problem

Error: History file "/home/jbproduc/tmp/awstats/awstats072004.jbproductions.nl.txt" is corrupted (End of section VISITOR not found).

    Delete awstats072004.jbproductions.nl.txt and then run

/scripts/runweblogs again and this will fix that users stats.
