I see on my cPanel v74.0.12 server that PHP gets automatically upgraded. For example phpinfo() says Build Date: Dec 10 2018 17:17:38. This seems to happen separately from WHM updates to 74.0.x.

I'm worried this will break one day. Is there a way to manually turn off these auto-updates/builds and manually trigger them in WHM when I want?

    Hi @Scott Galambos

We do send out EasyApache updates separately from cPanel updates. I would absolutely NOT recommend disabling these for security purposes but if it's something you must have the following thread does discuss how to disable them EasyApache 4 auto update disable

    Thanks!
