Stop harassing emails

Hello,

I have a situation where an unknown person sends dozens of harassing emails per day, each day from a different free email account. (Somebody has too much time on their hands.) Is there a way in cpanel to automatically ignore email from a specific address if, say, they send more than 3 emails in a 10 minute period?

Hey there! The closest thing we would have for that would be the Greylisting option described here:

This interface allows you to configure Greylisting, a service that protects your server against unwanted email or spam.

This forces the message to be resent, which helps to stop automated messages from spammers, but could also help in your situation. Other than that, you may want to look into using account level filters if there is a common name in the addresses.
