Following on from this thread;
Check if Additional Destination gets disabled during backup

Hello,

You should already receive a notification if the backup destination is disabled due to a failure. You can browse to "WHM Home » Server Contacts » Contact Manager" and check to see which contact methods are configured for the "Backup Transport Error" and "Backup Failure" notifications.

Thank you.
Hello,

We have a number of servers that back up to a remote destination, unfortunately it was unavailable for 24-48 hours, upon checking, I can see many of these servers have the remote destination as "Disabled".

Is there a way to stop it automatically disabling if the transport fails?

Hi @Arkaic

There isn't a way to stop this from occurring, if the remote server is unavailable or if the remote transport fails you'll receive a notification and it the transport will be disabled until it's re-validated. You may want to open a feature request using the link in my signature if this is behavior you'd like to see improved.
