I just moved my customers to a new server. It's been 3 days so everything is propagated.

The old server will remain paid for for another 2 weeks but I do not want the server live. Every time I try and shut something down it auto restarts.

Can somebody give me some ssh commands to stop the restarting of services and also some good commands to bring the server completely down, and stay down?

    Thank you very much

Thanks very much for your response.

Will I be able to ssh2 into the server when I run the init 0 command?

If I needed to bring it back up do I run init 1

    Thanks again.
