Any ideas on how to prevent /scripts/upcp from upgrading DBI.pm? DBI-1.48 is what we have installed, and all we need. However, every night, cPanel updates DBI to 1.49, which has the unfortunate effect of breaking a customer's script. Is SYSUP=manual in /etc/cpupdate.conf enough? RPMUP is irrelevant since it's not being installed via RPM. I could change the SYSUP line, but I'd like an opinion first.

Or, even better, is there a way to have cPanel not update 1 particular Perl module? Seems doubtful, but who knows. Thanks.

    hey

turn off cpanel auto updates (under Update Config) ??

OR chattr the DBI file (or files) to immutable, so nothing can change it :)

OR get your client to fix his script :)

    Cheers
    Andy
