I need to test a service status program I have written. Often restarting a service does not give me enough time to test. I was wondering if there was a way to turn off a service (ie. FTP) from within cPanel WHM. Ofcoarse I want to turn it off only temporarily (for a few minutes), so I would like to be able to turn on the service through cPanel WHM as well.

    Hello,

Login as root on your WHM panel and go to Main >> Service Configuration >> Service Manager

There you will be able to enable/disable the FTP Daemon.

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...
