There is no such thing as *stopping* but there is such thing as interception ;). Use exim RBLs on outgoing emails to match wildcards, ive been getting spammed lately on irc so here are some words you can match:

That's a shame you were not able to get them to get if fixed for you, sounds
like it could be a good program, but if I am going to do something like this
I think I will look at the cheaper of the 2, I don't know even the $45.00 is
money that can do to something else if it's not going to work.

I thought I read some where, mailmon only works when spam is sent through sendmail ( i.e. php mail command )

If sent through SMTP it would not catch it.

    http://home-port.net/Mail-Watch/
That is ok, to help keep an eye on it and be warned when someone is doing something they should not be.

But the above does not stop it, so if someone does not watch for the warnings, it could still be sent out ( but used in combination with cpanel/exim max per hour setting ) it can help.

Wonder if the other one works like mailmon, from it's description, it sounds exactly the same.... just costs more.

Hope a few others have some ideas/suggestions on this subject.

    mailmon problems

    Hello Guys,

    Anybody faced this problem.

Mailmon installed server is delivering emails to mailmon.junk when the user has exceeded the allowed limit on the server. The mailmon should only send mails from the server to mailmon.junk when the user exceeds the count limit.

But strange it is not even delivering emails to the users inbox from the outside world. It is delivering the emails to mailmon.junk.

Any help on this will be appriciated.

    Regards,
    Chandra K.
